About the Job:

The primary role of the Business Development Executive is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from prospective and potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with our company.


Qualification:

UG – Any Graduate – Any Specialization (Mechanical Preferable)
PG- Any Postgraduate – Any Specialization (Mechanical Engineering Background Preferable)
Doctorate- Doctorate Not Required


Experience:

Business Development Executive – 0 to 1 Year.
Sr. Business Development Executive – 1 to 5 Year.
Business Development Manager – 5 to 8 Years.


Scope of Work:

We are looking for Business Development Executive at Pune. The scope of work for the position will include: –

  • Assist sales and marketing teams with construction of RFIs and RFPs related to the category
  • Work with category insights, marketing, sales and/or operations teams to develop category-specific presentations for both internal and external use. Presentations may incorporate multiple data sources, market and industry trends, competitive reviews, promotional and pricing analysis, seasonality trends, and research results from custom studies.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and operations teams to bring new item innovation concepts and/or strategic line extensions for the category, through the organization from beginning (concept) to end (implementation).

  • Basic computer/ Internet knowledge
  • Candidates should be self-driven, creative, and strategist to be able to handle this role.

  • Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Must have impeccable listening and understanding skills.
  • Work to identify, qualify, and acquire new & lost business opportunities
  • Prospects and develops profitable new & lost customers using a systematic approach which includes customer potential/stratification
  • Responsible for producing and presenting Prime Vendor proposals to prospective customers
  • Relationship building – Develop and maintain ongoing working relationships with Customer
  • Capability of successfully and professionally delivering presentations to qualified customers
  • Develop and implement strategic Business Development sales plan to achieve company goals
  • Consult with the customer to identify and define customers business needs, determine a solution, develop ROI proposal presentation for customer review.
  • Be part of Business Development team and proactively identify, qualify, and acquire new & lost business opportunities
  • We have developed an extensive algorithm for Business Development – be part of the process and drive the process for BD betterment.
  • Report to the core management team during the internship period – to learn, implement and strategize the BD process.
  • Prospects and develops profitable new & lost customers using a systematic approach which includes customer potential/stratification.
  • Responsible for producing and presenting Prime Vendor proposals to prospective customers.
  • Relationship building – Develop and maintain ongoing working relationships from existing client or new client.
  • The capability of successfully and professionally delivering presentations to new clients.

  • Consult with the customer to identify and define customers business needs, create a proposal based on the customer needs and send the same to the client.
  • Negotiate with the client and convert the order.
  • Track updates on progress and measure/evaluate performance.
